You may know Downtown Salem’s famous views…
But, do you know the lesser known sites?
Do you know where the Grasshopper is located? Okay. How about the old phone box?
Are You ready to prove it?
Then put on your walking shoes…
Grab your smartphone and/or camera…
And come downtown!
There will be new images released weekly that you will be challenged to come and find. Once you’ve discovered where they are, you must take a photograph of the same subject(s) documenting your discoveries.
There are two winners for each image. The first winner being the first person to find the location and turn in their photograph. The second winner is the one judged most artistic.
The judge of the artistic competition is a downtown business who chose to sponsor that image and will be providing the prizes to the two winners.
